- L-Glutamine, Maltodextrin - Made in the same plant with soy, milk, egg, and wheat products - Using GLUTASOLVE:
Oral Administration: - Mix one packet GLUTASOLVE into 4fl oz of a favorite hot or cold beverage, or with soft foods like yogurt, applesauce or pudding. Stir well and consume immediately after mixing Mucositis Protocol: - Mix two packets GLUTASOLVE (30g glutamine) 4 into 8 fl oz of water and refrigerate. Before consuming, mix vigorously (powder will settle while in the refrigerator). Consume approximately 2fl oz at least 10 to 15 minutes before meals and before bedtime (4 times a day). Discard any solution not consumed within 24 hours.2 Begin approximately 5 days prior to the start of chemotherapy or radiation therapy, and continue during the course of therapy for a total of 14 days,2,3 or as otherwise directed by a health care professional Tube Feeding Administration: - Mix one packet of GLUTASOLVE with 2-4fl oz (60ml to 120ml) warm water. Infuse immediately via syringe into enteral feeding tube. Minimum tube size recommended is 8 Fr. Adding GLUTASOLVE directly to enteral formula is not recommended.
