- Assembly Instructions:
- Position overdoor bracket and pulley assembly on top edge of door
- Thread cord through both pulleys
- Secure traction cord closest to door to water weight bag with “S” hook
- Secure the other end of the cord furthest from the door directly through the center of the spreader bar
- Assemble head halter
- Place metal rings or cord loops on head halter in recommended notches of spreader bar while sitting straight in chair
- Place amount of water as prescribed by doctor into calibrated water bag
- With label panel facing upward, slip halter onto head
- Chin rests on lower panel
WARNING: Consult your physician before using this device. Depending on the type of traction prescribed (flexion or extension), patient should sit either facing or away from door
